These developments explain why a quantitative analysis of HRM studies found on bibliometric techniques is particularly opportune. The general objective of this article is to decompose the intellectual structure of the HRM discipline; this can be separate into two speci?c objectives. The ?rst is to identify the most frequently cited studies, with the occasion of identifying the key topics of research in the HRM discipline.
