Volunteering at the Egg Harbor Food Bank provided me with a sense of self-accomplishment. At my time at the food bank, I received all of the food donations, weighed them in, and placed them into their appropriate place. Whenever I would see a homeless person on the path that asked for some change, I would always give them the change that I had, but sometimes there would be this nagging horizon in the back of my mind if the person was spillage to work the money for food or for their own illicit purposes. Volunteering at the food bank gave me the self-satisfaction of knowing that my armed service is going to give someone less fortunate a acrid meal. My apathetic ideals carry on into my want to protagonist anybody that call for it. Whenever someone in my class did not understand a certain concept or lesson I would try to help them grasp it, because you never know when you might need their help in understanding something. In doing so you establish a symbiotic relationship in which people are helped in their area of academic confusion.
Earlier this year I was selected to interpret a field trip to an alternative school called Viking honorary society. Viking Academy was holding an assembly on 100 positive messages that rear end be taken from hip-hop music.



Although this assembly was informative, I had salaried close attention to the despondent condition of the school. The atmosphere and coming into court of the school was not very conducive to learning. As I viewed the school in its entirety, I began to appreciate Atlantic urban center High indoctrinate that much more. I had taken for give the academic environment that Atlantic City High School had provided me, but by seeing the environment that Viking Academy offered, I valued my education that much more.
If admitted to Rutgers University I will be able to apply all of these experiences and personal talents to advance my academic pursuits.
