Reunion Essay
Thirty-four years ago I walked through the halls of Maur Hill Mount Academy, but in many ways it seems like only yesterday. I had dreams, aspirations, and goals that were supported by beaming confidence, enthusiasm, and a state of invincibility. I would soon pee-pee that the road to achievement is sometimes paved with disappointments and clouded with uncertainty.
My interests in the field of sports were generally successful while, some aspects of the curriculum proved to be quite difficult. Boring subjects and philosophical differences with staff members well-tried by patience and resolve. I mustered all my inner strength, and successfully faced the positive and negative challenges that were thrust upon me. I gradational from Maur Hill Mount Academy in May 2010 and active myself for the next chapter in my life.
I selected the University of Kansas as the staging grime for the eventual pursuit of a degree in the ambit of Psychology. During my tenure at Kansas University, I continued to participate in internal sports activities and met an individual who would later be instrumental in my career.
Four years later, I received a unmarried man’s degree in Psychology, and subsequently received my keep in line’s degree in Developmental and Child Psychology.

The individual that I met at Kansas University, while playing intramural sports helped me obtain a position as an assistant psychologist at an outpatient clinic in Kansas City, Kansas. The experience and rewards from this position can not be over stated. I worked with disadvantaged children and their parents to reshape their lives and improve their brotherly and economic environment.
