Notes on “The Boat”

Plot

The story starts out with a worldly concern waking up at 3 in the morning time after having a bad dream. He is dreaming of the boat, and it is not pleasant

The moorage is rich in religion with the Protestant Puritans, who have a history of proud and traditional family values, and strong woman who vocalise their opinion, but that still wish to stay in their little community.
