As the States struggled to create a national government; American, Great Britain, and France struggled with each other, which lead to a second war of independence for America. Mevery say that the authority the war ended which was a stalemate, which is simply how the fight of 1812 began. The War of 1812 was fought mainly between the Americans and English from England. After almost leash years of war with each other, American and England signed the pact of Ghent, would proved neither side won the war. Many pure tone that the many battles between the two countries did non accomplish any returns that lead to the war between a super cause country, and a country just beginning its rise a country.

Before the war began, England was already battling with France or shall we say forty winks and did not want to be stretched thin. During this period the linked Sates continue to trade with both countries rather than take sides. This decision did not make The British or French happy and make a negative attitude toward America. However, a certain issue that led to licking by the Americans was impressments of American sailors. These sailors were once British citizens and decided to become citizens of the new country that we call the United States.



After being captured by the British Navy, these sailors were forced to repay the British Navy and battle against the Americans. The reason for these impressments by the British Navy was due to the lack of manpower by the British, as mentioned earlier they were already battling with the French. Another cause of American frustration was the capture of American merchant trading vessels by the British, these ships were on their way to France. Britain had setup a blockade along the coastline and seized to a greater extent than 1,500 U.S. ships en route to France. Another contributing factor for America to go to war with the British was due to the fact that the British were dealing with rebellious Indians of the west.
